Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before you build.
Appiphany separates what is available in the platform today, what can be generated, and what requires a separate custom-build request or third-party approval.
Is Appiphany only a website builder?
No. Appiphany uses one app definition to produce web and installable PWA experiences, Flutter source packages, native-wrapper source and release metadata. Available outputs depend on the selected package and readiness of the app.
Do I own the app content?
You retain ownership of the content and branding you provide. Source-export rights depend on the selected package and the applicable terms.
Can Appiphany publish to Android and iPhone?
Appiphany compiles Android release outputs and Apple Simulator or unsigned device outputs through dedicated workers. Production signing and store submission require customer-owned developer accounts and credentials; Appiphany labels compiled, test-signed, unsigned and store-ready states separately.
Can I start with a PWA?
Yes. A PWA is the fastest way to launch an installable app without waiting for an app-store review, and it can later feed the Flutter or native release workflow.
What happens when my app needs custom features?
Submit the requirement through the automated brief assessor. It identifies likely integrations, risk boundaries and plan fit. Bespoke engineering begins only after a separate explicit scope is accepted.
Can an agency use Appiphany?
Yes. Pro supports multiple apps, reusable structures, source exports and white-label capability where the plan allows it.
Where is Appiphany hosted?
The Appiphany platform is operated from its dedicated Arkwright development and hosting environment, with a private public-edge connection and monitored application services.
Can I cancel?
Subscription cancellation stops future renewals. Export, transfer and continued hosting options depend on the selected package and current terms.
Still unsure which route fits?
Send the business workflow rather than trying to choose technical features. Appiphany can separate standard platform capability from genuinely bespoke engineering.
